Social Trend: Bloggers to Reporters
Submitted by LPH on Tue, 01/01/2008 - 21:39.Numerous changes on Internet websites happened in 2007 but two major trends stick out as vital to bloggers and site owners. First, larger sites will move away from blistering speed updates and move toward quality posts. Next, expect the larger blog sites to consolidate into large e-paper sites (formerly news sites). Both trends will happen quickly during the first quarter of 2008 and sites that do not meet Internet consumer expectations will be left behind.

Maintenance Continues But Still Missing Several RSS Feeds
Several RSS Feeds are now available on Computer Views. Yet, not all of the RSS feeds from the Tux Reports Network are included. Missing RSS Feeds are AMD Views, Intel Views, Microsoft Views, MS Office Buzz, NeekTalk, Surface Computer Buzz, Tablet PC Counter, Tablet PC Post, and Vista Buzz.
Work will continue later this weekend.
Computer Views
The domain name Computer Views was registered several years ago and resided on an installation of Community Server. While this was fine for a small site, the configuration did not provide easy customization and the forums portion was poor. Hopefully the features with Drupal will allow visitors to feel more welcome and interact more.
